Christmas at Give Kids the World Village 12/10/14

We arrived home from Sea World to find 3 little Santa's Helper hats on our villa table.
The kids put them on and we got ready to run up to the Village Christmas Party!
We heard there would be special visitors at the village for the party.  They were right!!  Minnie was one of the few characters we hadn't met yet so we were VERY excited to see her at the village party!  This particular evening the founder of Give Kids' the World, Henri Landwirth, himself was there with his twin sister for the Christmas celebration!
What an honor to meet such an incredible man!  He has a fascinating story of surviving five concentration camps and making it to America and fulfilling a dream! What a true Hero and inspiration of turning hate into love!
They played some fun Christmas Games and danced with the characters in the Village square.  They had a tree lighting ceremony, and everyone sat as they read "Twas the Night Before Christmas!"  It even started to snow (little bubbles) again!  We had a drink of Hot cocoa and soaked in the magic of the evening!

There were some craft tables and ornament decorating.  Goofy came and decorated ornaments with the kiddo's.  Cody loved him to pieces!
Of course we made a quick run into the ice cream shop before heading back down to see Santa :)

Then we bumped into Mayor Clayton and Miss Merry!
They are the greatest hosts ever!

Our final stop of the evening was to visit Mrs. Clause and Santa!
It was a Merry and Magical Christmas at Give Kids the world Village!
